Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the MapToPoster website and services. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. MapToPoster is a UK-based business.
2. Products and orders
MapToPoster sells custom-made map posters printed to your specifications. Each poster is created uniquely based on your chosen location, theme, size, and framing options.
Prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include the cost of printing. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time; the price displayed at the time of your order is the price you pay.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel an online order. However, because each poster is made to your specifications and clearly personalised, the right to cancel does not apply once production has begun (Regulation 28(1)(b)).
If your poster arrives damaged or there is a printing defect, please contact us at support@maptoposter.co within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
4. Delivery
Orders are fulfilled by our print partner Prodigi. Delivery times depend on your location and shipping method selected at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or events outside our control.
5. Intellectual property
The MapToPoster brand, website design, and software are owned by us. Map data is sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors and used under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).
You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to display your purchased poster. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute the poster designs.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
